Rhonda Shavon Stevens, at a very young age, married her husband, Jalen, who was an older man who used her youth and innocence for his own agenda. Jalen was a foreigner who was about to be deported by I-C-E and that is the only reason he tricked Rhonda into marrying him. This story takes a turn for the worst. Rhonda finally breaks away from Jalen and wishes to file divorce. This angers Jalen, because he wants to be in his children’s life. Rhonda has two friends whom she met at her new job named Wanda and Kemp.
Rhonda’s friend Wanda ends up murdered and frozen near a big tree in midwinter. Does Rhonda’s husband, Jalen, have anything to do with it? With all this chaos in her life Rhonda has now developed a phobia of love - a fear of loving. This story will take you on twist and turns and one hell of a ride.
