Adam Brooks

Adam Brooks is a British comedy writer, narrator, and the creative mastermind behind the cult-classic independent series Tales from the McFlipperties. Born and raised in a gritty Northern area in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Adam specializes in documenting the chaotic, hilarious, and completely unwritten history of working-class childhood culture. Packed to the rafters with authentic street slang, retro pop-culture references, and unbelievable, based-on-real-life terraced house and Northern area capers, his books offer readers a high-velocity, laugh-out-loud trip down memory lane that anyone from nearly eleven-year-olds up to one hundred would enjoy. When he isn't working his back end off dicing up scripts, designing covers from scratch, or loading tracks onto the microphone workbench, Adam can be found obsessing over classic '80s nostalgia and engineering the next volume of his expanding literary franchise.
