The Severance Trilogy

Sainte Nore does not want to be a farmer. He does not want to be a trader or a store owner. He wants to be a Blade of the Night. He wants to fight the ravenous beasts they call Malignin; to defend Crearia from them. That’s why, when he turns seventeen, he does just that. Recently single, he leaves his family and everything he knows behind to go through Training to become a Blade. Sainte is determined to do what it takes to graduate, no matter who or what tries to get in his way. But when Training is almost over, he is given a unique assignment. One that changes everything.

Ellie the innocent. Sainte her keeper. Malignin the esurient. The Blades of the Night, a militia formed to keep the Malignin at bay, fight the creatures every night to keep them from the Barrier. But with The Blades of the Night's dwindling numbers and the nearly endless Malignin, it's only a matter of time before the Malignin get what they want.

Sainte the broken. Devious White Wyverns. The vile Abomination. With the Malignin in hiding and the Abomination nowhere to be found, life in Crearia seemed to be returning to normal. With allies old and new, Sainte Nore is tasked to find a powerful weapon that he is told can defeat the Abomination. Will Sainte be able to find what he seeks and destroy the Abomination before its inevitable retaliation?

The sword that consumes. The encroaching darkness. The waning Barrier. Sainte, with his newly acquired sword, and his acquaintance Thedios set off to gather an army. One that can take on the forces of the Abomination and Malignin. However, as they travel Crearia they find that the Abomination seems to be just one step ahead of them. Across the lands, Nadrian, Peng, Kial, and Seltrin have a similar idea. The men leave Precipeak to bring more people back with them. It doesn’t take them long to realize that the Malignin are gathering forces of their own.
