When Shaun takes a chance on an all-new developmental therapy to improve his mental well-being and lose some weight, he is thrust into the ride of his life. Fighting through an all too real fantasy land, with the assistance of another, often-difficult participant, he is able to realign his outlook on life - which turns out to be more important than he could have dreamed, as they are thrust into a real-world battle for survival that will resonate across the galaxy. 

When Shaun’s life continues to go from bad to worse, he is offered the chance to escape into an epic game world. One with the power to repair his mind and body while he lives out his wildest dreams. What could possibly go wrong? It turns out fighting monsters and obesity is tough wherever you are! Then there’s the unrequited love. Weren’t the women supposed to fall head over heels with the hero? Not in Anatoli, a brutal and unforgiving land on the brink of apocalypse.

Out of Anatoli and life is nothing like Shaun and Ember could have ever dreamed of. Hunted by the ancestors of humanity across the darkness of space, they can only hope the changes they have undergone and powers they have gained will be enough to keep them alive. Life will never be the same again. Somehow, they need to find a way back to earth.

When most of the galaxy is hunting you down, life is pretty tough. It does help if you have one of the fastest ships in the galaxy, a homicidal axe, lots of money, and a foolproof plan. Which involves recruiting as many crazy b*****ds as possible to the crew!

Hidden deep within the Dark Sector, the members of Uprising find potential allies. But will their plans align? Everyone has an agenda, and this new friendship could be more trouble than it’s worth. Join Shaun and Ember once more, as they battle old enemies and new, deal with dissent among the ranks, and attempt to further progress their powers.

Shaun and the Uprising have somehow managed to delay the inevitable, but the day of a titanic battle is on the horizon. The Apochros do not believe they are strong enough to resist the combined might of the Fystr and Galactic Empires, so the Uprising must leave the relative safety that they've found to recruit more willing souls. Maybe even cause some chaos along the way, in true Vakuna fashion. Every little helps after all.

Does it even matter anymore, after finally being captured by the Fystr? Not to Shaun it doesn’t. His immediate concern is staying alive to exact some kind of revenge.
