The gospel stories as you've never heard them before.

Everyone knows the story of Jesus' life as told in the Gospels - and perhaps because it is so familiar, we have forgotten what an extraordinary life it was. Through these five plays, the story is pieced together as if from the memories of those who were there and saw events for themselves: Jesus' mother, Mary; his closest friends; the Jewish high priest; and the Roman governor. They recount the events they witnessed as if they had happened just the other day.

In New York, Henry Kissinger is about to be woken at his room in the Waldorf Astoria, with news of a new Middle East War. Stars Henry Goodman as Henry Kissinger, Peter Marinker as Richard Nixon and Sara Kestelman as Golda Meir. For many people the “why” for following Jesus seems to be mere eternal fire insurance, with often little to no effect on their lives here and now. Consequently, their lives are generally indistinguishable from the rest of the world. Their portrayal of Christianity is lifeless and uninspiring to those seeking true meaning and fulfillment.
