À propos de ce contenu audio

What is the point of Christianity?

Does it offer anything now, or just after we die?

Is belief in Jesus really all we need?

For many people the “why” for following Jesus seems to be mere eternal fire insurance, with often little to no effect on their lives here and now. Consequently, their lives are generally indistinguishable from the rest of the world. Their portrayal of Christianity is lifeless and uninspiring to those seeking true meaning and fulfillment.

But how can this be when Jesus said he came to give us life to the fullest—today, here and now?

The truth is that Christianity is about so much more than fire insurance. It’s about a good God restoring a world he created by reforming the ones he entrusted to manage it. It’s also about how his followers can join him in this glorious mission by placing their faith in the wise rule of King Jesus. As a result, experience the kind of life their Creator always intended and, in the process, shine like stars.
