The Wellwoods are moving away from the chaos of the city and buying their first dream home in the country lands of upstate New York. Despite the odd behavior of the townsfolk and being the first visitors in several years of one house in particular, the Wellwoods can’t resist the lovely charms of the old colonial house and quickly make it their new home - that is, all except for their 12-year-old daughter, Samantha, who senses a malevolent presence in the house and wants nothing more than for her family to escape it!

As humans, we look for something that can help us feel like we have control, or at least some one or some thing is in control. But what if God isn’t here to support or save us? What if God is simply to be within us? What if a divine connection between all that exists is all there is? Nothing with control or power over, but a divine potential that is ours to be immersed within? Life lived in the paradox of our humanity and our divinity may mean that we do not have distinct answers nor the comfort and security of a definable path for our lives.
