Having received his quest from Marj, Keith sets off toward Umber City to investigate Cane, a dangerous member of the Necro-Beast Guild. Help is already waiting for him in the form of the Royal Guild, who has pledged to help in the extermination of the Dark Guilds plaguing the continent. Though all seems well at first, Keith soon finds himself bogged down in quests, assassination plots, and back-alley lowlives, not to mention the conspiracy by one of the greatest citizens in all of Humania.

The seals which have long contained the majority of Buryoku's power, have been shattered, freeing the race of Demons along with them.... With a third Ancient Cavern Beast on the rise, Roy, as the Herald Clan's youngest Sage, is tasked with preventing the rise of a fourth. Returning from his training with Gold in the strange world of Somerset, Arbor is immediately forced into yet another battle - this time against multiple enemies. Worse, he receives reports of disturbing activity coming from the Goldenleaf Forest, and dire warnings of a threat that Laedrin will not be able to handle. The future holds many uncertainties - the hardest of which comes when Arbor is forced to make a choice between rescuing his sister from herself, and keeping the peace in his own lands.

Thrown into the tournament, Roy finds that there are more than a few challengers who outclass him. The secret to victory lies between the pages of an ancient book and newly-awakened senses he does not fully understand.

After exiting the Trials, Dabu and Uhane set off in pursuit of Phoenix. However, after encountering a magically charged sandstorm, the pair find themselves far from their intended course. Running short on food and water, they have no choice but to try to find civilization. Instead, they find deserted villages, rumors of a terrifying beast that stalks the night, and no way to turn back. All they can do is forge on, both to find supplies and to discover what sort of creature can send entire villages fleeing for their lives.

The end is finally here. Morgan and Sarah rush back to the Five Kingdoms, with the survivors of Faeland in tow, as enemies converge on all sides. Gods and monsters alike threaten to destroy the world, and there is only one person mighty enough to stop them all. Morgan will be tested like never before, in his final bid to free the planet of the chaotic influences that threaten to destroy it. Will he prove, once and for all, that he is truly Omniscient? Or, will one of his many enemies finally put an end to the King of Eternity?

Dabu’s life has been far from easy; born with a crippling lung illness, he has never been as strong as his father or brother, both of whom have disappeared after attempting to challenge the Trials of Ancients. In the wake of the Tyrant King’s war, his village has come under the control of the Purus, a vicious gang of magically enhanced cutthroats and murderers. Who the hell is Virgonius Simp? To answer this all-important question, Sam must venture through the world of Somerset one last time. Of course, he isn’t exactly a willing participant, but Grem Lynn, queen of the gremlins, doesn’t really give him much choice. Tasked with destroying a conspiracy to overthrow her Grempire – get it? – Sam sets out with his odd group of people and talking animals.

With the weapon he needs to destroy the gods now in his possession, Morgan sets off for Faeland once again. However, this time, he does not go alone. Representatives of each kingdom join him, in an attempt to scout the area and collect the ingredients needed to replicate Ivaldi's formula. As soon as he departs, Katherine receives an urgent summons from Hu Kiln, king of the West Kingdom.

Three months have passed since the eccentric Hermit agreed to take Roy and Aika on as students. Now, the time has come for them to leave the forest and return to civilization. Neither Roy nor Aika know what to expect in the Itachi capital, but with their powerful teacher by their sides, they reluctantly agree to venture into the city. With all the time that has passed, they don't know how many powerful players are now on the board, nor the looming threat posed by a gathering of monstrous Beasts.
