Lee Greenwood joins Adam right before the Fourth of July, and the timing couldn’t be better. The Grammy-winning country icon behind “God Bless the U.S.A.” talks about the life of that song beyond the charts: writing it on the back of a tour bus in 1983, watching it become something much bigger than a single, and learning how to sing it differently depending on the room, the moment, and the meaning.
