The Visibility Standard Podcast is for the creatives, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who have turned their stories into their life's purpose & are using their voice to create ripples in their industry. This is your weekly reminder that you don’t need to be louder, trendier, or more “polished” to be seen—you just need to be honest. This podcast is a love letter to women everywhere. When we are loud & allow our stories to be heard, we create a world where women find power in their voice.

This podcast blends mental health, storytelling, and the occasional strategy to help you skyrocket your visibility journey. If you are tired of hiding your voice or have been looking for a show where the mission is to celebrate women, look no further because this show is for you.

I drop new episodes every week so you can keep expanding, experimenting, and taking up space—without asking for permission (except this one).

  • Your Friends Are Your Tether: Why Friendship is Non-Negotiable
    Oct 2 2026

Friendship is not a luxury. It's a life raft.

In this solo episode, Jazz gets brutally honest about the state of adult friendship—how we've normalized treating it like an optional add-on to life, how we settle for proximity and shared interests instead of genuine connection, and how that loneliness we're all feeling might actually be a choice we're making.

She talks about the difference between obligation and easy yes—the friendships that feel like work versus the people you'd drop everything for. She shares real moments: rallying for a friend's jewelry stand with someone she'd only known two years, connecting with someone at a networking event who became a lifelong friend, finding community through social media friendships that turned into something real and sustained.

But she also sits with the harder truth: friendship heartbreak is real, and we don't talk about it enough. Losing a friend—whether through growing apart, ghosting, or unexpected death—is grief. It's a form of heartbreak that shapes how we show up in future friendships. And that needs to be named.

Jazz reframes friendship as the tether that holds you when life gets rocky. Your partner, your kids, your family—they're important, but they can't be your whole support system. Friendship is what keeps you grounded, what reminds you you're not alone, what actually prevents isolation and the despair that follows it.

  • The Secret to Therapist Longevity? Stop Putting Everything Into Your Work
    Sep 18 2026

Jazzmyn just crossed into a new season: fully licensed, supervision behind her, and discovering something that shouldn't be surprising but is—her life has gotten exponentially better the moment she stopped trying to fit her entire identity into her work as a therapist.

This solo episode is real, unfiltered reflection on what happens after licensure, why so many therapists burn out before they even get there, and the permission slip everyone in the profession needs to hear.

The conversation covers the invisible cost of the internship and associate years—the survival mode that becomes normalized, the pressure to prove yourself constantly, the way therapists try to embody every single one of their values through their work alone. It touches on reclaiming the parts of yourself that grad school put on pause: friendships, volunteering, spirituality, creativity, just being human.

Jazzmyn shares a vulnerable moment about reconnecting with a friend from a Christian camp where she was closeted, and how being invited back to serve—this time as her full self—became a healing full circle. She talks about how having a life outside work actually makes her a better therapist, how the pressure to perform dissolved the moment supervision ended, and how having capacity for fun changes everything.

  • What the News Gets Wrong About Family Estrangement: A Therapist Didn't Make Me Cut My Dad Off—My Dad Did
    Sep 9 2026

When the Wall Street Journal published an article blaming therapists for the rise of family estrangement, Jazzmyn knew the narrative was incomplete. In this deeply personal solo episode, she walks through her own story of cutting her father off at 16—a choice made without therapy, without language, without permission. She talks about what estrangement actually feels like, why the media gets it wrong, and what changed when she finally learned to trust herself. This is a conversation about survival, self-trust, guilt, and what healing looks like on the other side of a choice that society still views as taboo.

This isn't a how-to guide on estrangement. It's a permission letter to people who are sitting with guilt, shame, or confusion about their own family relationships. It's a middle finger to narratives that oversimplify one of the hardest choices a person can make. And it's a testament to what happens when you trust yourself, even when nobody else gets it.

The media narrative around estrangement is incomplete because it doesn't center the people actually living it. It doesn't ask: What had to happen for you to make this choice? It doesn't sit with the weight of it.

    This episode does.
