    On Soul-2-Wellness / Podcast 1, Cathy Thurman will be discussing the superpower of high sensitivity, found in only 20% of the population. These individuals are referred to as Highly Sensitive People (HSP's). In addition to exploring the main character traits of HSP’s and how to support them, Cathy will provide resources in psychology, research and energy medicine for those interested in learning more. Although Cathy will be stressing the advantages to being an HSP, she will share how to begin addressing the challenges from an Eastern Medicine perspective. Given that “focus” is often a struggle for HSP’s, Cathy will be guiding listeners in a mindful, visualization technique. She will also be instructing listeners through two powerful energy medicine techniques that help to promote grounding and a stable nervous system.     Episode 12 of Soul-2-Wellness Radio will be featuring four special guests that Host Cathy Thurman has had the honor of having as clients for multiple years. These guests will be sharing their personal stories on how they benefitted from energy medicine, holistic trauma work, and utilizing some of the life coaching tools that Cathy has shared on the Soul-2-Wellness Radio show. Her guest, Humberto Alabado has had a long-standing career as a Singer-Dancer Performer and Director of shows. He spent his youth traveling the world with Up With People and performed in three Super Bowl Half-Time Shows. Guest, Robert Macomber is a multiple Grammy and Emmy Award winning Sound Engineer, as well as an accomplished guitarist. Guest, Caitlin Reed is an aspiring Michigan State University Student, majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice and is currently researching the effects of the justice system on juveniles and their families. Guest, Cassidy V. (wishing to remain anonymous) is a Mother, Life Coach, Fashion Designer and Entrepreneur.     On the 11th Episode of Soul-2-Wellness, Host Cathy Thurman will be sharing some of the hurtles in her life journey, as an example to demonstrate how patterns to our trauma may be identified. She will be discussing the importance of finding meaning and purpose to our trauma. In addition, Cathy will be reviewing her trauma release methods and a unique form of hypnosis, called Quantum Healing Hypnosis, that she refers to as “an interview with your soul”. And if time allows, Cathy will be walking listeners through a self-administered trauma release method to help remove the emotional charge from a negative memory.

  • Healing through the Arts, SoulCollage® & Medical Qigong

    Today on Soul-2-Wellness, Host Cathy Thurman will be interviewing Guest, Kat Kirby, on the first half of the show, discussing the healing power of the arts, creativity, and self-expression. Kat is a Board Certified, Registered Art Therapist, as well as a Certified Trainer and Facilitator of a therapeutic and creative technique, called SoulCollage®. Kat will be explaining the value of SoulCollage® in the self-discovery process and how anyone can experiment with this wonderful collage technique at home. On the second half of the show, Guest, Ariana Gonzalez, will share with listeners the ancient Chinese practice of Medical Qigong. Ariana currently has a Masters in Chinese Energetic Medicine and a soon-to-be Doctorate. She will be sharing personal discoveries and the overall healing benefits of her services as Medical Qigong Practitioner. And finally, Guest, Pat Thurman, who is also a Board Certified, Registered Art Therapist, will be informing listeners on how our subconscious reveals unresolved emotional wounds through an Art Therapy diagnostic tool, called the House-Tree-Person Assessment.
