      In this podcast, we have discussed the major reasons for a mighty decline in solar panel prices in Pakistan. Last year prices started increasing from 40 PKR per watt to upward and in December 2023 it was above 100 PKR per watt.

      The main reasons for high prices are high customs taxes on imports by the government and limited production of solar panels in the industry. But now from the start of 2024, prices have started decreasing from 100 PKR per watt, and by the end of January, prices decreased and reached 65 PKR per watt.

      Now prices are at the lowest level in Pakistan average prices are 35 PKR per watt. If I talk about the reasons for the decline in solar panel prices in Pakistan.

      The first reason is a great increase in the production of solar panels in the world. The second is now government removes custom taxes on imports and also removes limitations.
