    Memorial Day has arrived, and so has this eighth episode of the Revival Steam Podcast. We will witness steam action on several sections of the once legendary Norfolk and Western system. We will hear two trains on the line to Gilbert, WV. Then chase a train between Bluefield, VA, and Williamson, WV. We then hear trains on the two lines east and north of Portsmouth, OH. This is another exciting episode of a railroad that played a key role in supporting our brave troops who fought and died for freedom.

Also in the air is the smell of steam and smoke, along with the thunderous exhaust of new Norfolk and Western Steam Locomotives. We are about to hear these N&W monsters as they tackle Christiansburg Mountain west of Roanoke towards Bluefield, VA. We will hear freight trains and passenger trains pulled by the famed engines such as Y Class 2-8-8-2s, A Class 2-6-6-4s, and J Class 4-8-4s. It's an episode you won't want to miss.
