Today we taking the question: Can healing become another acheivement project? reflecting on how we seem to be caught in a fixing culture, that healing is something we should be good at, and how that can lead to feelings of shame and not enoughness. As healing is non-linear often messy and definitely not perfect!

Recovery and the Rest is the real story of what it’s like for us to be in long term sobriety. How we have, and continue to discover, what it means to be well, to take care of ourselves and grow through life challenges. For both of us being sober is the cornerstone of our lives. This podcast is the anything and everything that comes up along the way.

R&R is intended to be conversational rather than instructional, we encourage each person to design, discover and be proud of their own sobriety tools. We celebrate all roads to recovery and criticise none. This podcast is our own personal stake in the sand, to our own continued commitment to nurturing our recovery.
