  • Episode 173: Congrats On Your Failure, Most People Don’t Even Try
    Mar 5 2026

In this episode of Raising Serotonin, I open up about the pressure I’ve been putting on myself to do more, be more, and question whether I’m actually doing “enough.”

Sharing vulnerably from my practicum experience, I talk through the overthinking spiral, the inner critic that loves to show up uninvited, and what it looks like to catch myself before I let that negative voice take over. This conversation is a reminder, for me and for you, that growth isn’t about perfection, it’s about trying. And if you’re choosing to show up, stretch yourself, and do the work (even imperfectly), you’re already doing more than most.

  • Episode 172: Meeting Yourself With Grace in the Middle of a Spiral
    Feb 12 2026

In this episode of Raising Serotonin, I’m opening up about emotional spirals, the kind that feel overwhelming, heavy, and hard to pull yourself out of.

I share some of my own experiences with spiraling and what I’ve learned through therapy, self-reflection, and giving myself a little more compassion along the way, I talk about the importance of slowing down long enough to acknowledge what I’m actually feeling instead of judging it or trying to push it away.

So often, my spirals weren’t really about the surface issue, they were about deeper triggers that needed attention, care, and understanding. Learning to gently ask myself, “What’s really going on here?” has been a powerful shift.

In this conversation, I walk through some of the tools that have helped me, naming my emotions instead of shaming them, recognizing my triggers, using affirmations that feel grounding (not forced), and allowing myself to talk things through with people I trust. I’ve learned that healing isn’t about never spiraling again, it’s about knowing how to meet yourself with grace when you do.

If you’ve ever felt caught in your thoughts or overwhelmed by your emotions, I hope this episode reminds you that you’re not broken. You’re human. Your feelings make sense. And you are worthy of love, patience, and support, especially from yourself.

We’re not trying to eliminate emotions here. We’re learning how to hold them with care.

  • Episode 171: The Newness Break Down
    Jan 29 2026

On this week of Raising Serotonin, I’m sharing what it’s really been like stepping into something completely new, my practicum for my master’s degree.

I talk honestly about the nerves, self-doubt, and emotional waves that come with starting unfamiliar territory, and how quickly those moments can bring our deepest core beliefs about self-worth to the surface.

I reflect on what it looks like to notice those beliefs, challenge them, and choose growth anyway, even when it feels uncomfortable.

This episode is about honoring your feelings without letting them run the show, trusting yourself in the unknown, and allowing change to shape you rather than scare you. If you’re standing at the edge of something new, this one’s for you.

  • Episode 170: The Mental Health Glow Up for 2026
    Jan 8 2026

Welcome to the first Raising Serotonin episode of 2026!!! I wanted to kick this year off by talking about something that’s been sitting heavy with me, the idea that glow ups are still being framed as mostly physical. Hair, nails, Botox, weight… and almost no conversation around mental health. And personally, I believe every single one of us can always be working on our mental health.

In this episode of Raising Serotonin, I talk about why physical changes alone don’t create lasting happiness, and why mindset, emotional health, gut health, and daily habits matter just as much, if not more. I share what my own 2026 glow up looks like, including starting my counseling practicum and stepping fully into the work I feel called to do: listening, supporting, and helping others heal. This year isn’t about changing how I look, it’s about growing mentally, emotionally, and professionally.

I also break down what a mental health glow up can actually look like, because it’s different for everyone. There’s no timeline, no pressure to change everything at once, and no “right” way to do this. Whether you’re focusing on therapy, movement, boundaries, nutrition, or simply being more mindful, you have the next 11 months to grow and growth can start anytime you choose.

I talk about two specific things I’m intentionally working on this year: letting go of chasing a number on the scale and being more mindful of my screen time. The scale can quietly mess with our heads, and social media, while useful, can be incredibly draining if we’re not careful. Protecting our peace matters.

This episode is a reminder that the work is daily, not seasonal. There is no finish line. The goal is to get 1% better, show up with intention, and choose growth even when it’s uncomfortable. You deserve to feel good. You don’t have to sit in pain this year. And I’m so glad you’re here growing with me.

  • Episode 168: Serotonin Boosts For The End of 2025 into 2026
    Nov 20 2025

In this episode of Raising Serotonin, I’m getting real about what this past year has taught me, the hard moments, the breakthroughs, and the gratitude that’s grounding me as we head into the holiday season.

I’m sharing the simple shifts that helped me protect my mental health, the goals that actually feel doable, and why nourishing your body (and mind) with movement and solid nutrition is a game-changer for your serotonin.

I’m also diving into something we don’t talk about enough: how what we watch, scroll, and listen to drastically shapes our emotional world, and how choosing better inputs can change everything.

  • Episode 167: Holiday Season Anxiety Guide
    Nov 13 2025

The holiday season isn’t always merry and bright and that’s something I’ve learned to really sit with over the years. In this episode of Raising Serotonin, I open up about the emotional side of the holidays the dread, the pressure, and the heaviness that can creep in even when we “should” be feeling joyful.

I share how seasonal depression and the change in light can impact our mood, and why the end of the year often feels like emotional overload. Together, we’ll talk about giving ourselves permission to feel what’s real not what we think we’re supposed to feel and how we can gently shift our focus toward gratitude and small moments of joy.

If the holidays bring up old wounds or just feel hard, you’re not alone.

Let’s walk through it together and find ways to bring a little more peace, purpose, and light into this season.

  • Episode 166: Choosing Strong Over Skinny
    Oct 30 2025

This week on Raising Serotonin, I’m talking about why strength not “perfection” should be your focus. As I step into year six of the podcast, I reflect on my journey of growth, facing fear, and learning to embrace change.

I share my story of moving from a place of misery to one of resilience, and why taking ownership of your life is so powerful. I also tackle the harmful trends around body image, like the “Pilates body,” and remind you that wellness isn’t about fitting a mold, it’s about becoming stronger mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

    In this episode, I cover:

    • How fear of the unknown can hold you back, and how to move past it
    • The 1% rule: getting stronger every single day
    • Choosing one area of strength to focus on for long-term growth
    • Why chasing a “perfect” body is harmful
    • Caring for your body as your temple

If you’ve ever felt stuck, insecure, or pressured by body standards, this episode is for you. My message: stop comparing, start strengthening, and honor the body and life you’ve been given.

Let’s finish 2025 stronger than ever, not smaller, not perfect, but powerful in every way that matters.
