  • 77 | Is your mind constantly racing? How this simple time management strategy can calm your mind.
    Oct 22 2026

Is your mind constantly racing with endless to-do lists that never get accomplished? I understand this all too well. I used to live this way until I discovered a simple time management strategy called time blocking.

Benefit from implementing this strategy are

    1. Calm your racing mind and lessen your daily stress

    2. Create pockets of time for you to complete your most important work and know that it will get done.

    3. Create master to-do lists for each area of your life that you know that it will get done in the time you have scheduled for it.

    4. Free up time for adventure and spontaneous moments.

    5. Be more present with those who are important to you because you are not distracted by your racing thoughts.

    6. Learn the best times for you to do your most difficult tasks and make sure you stop procrastinating on them.

  • 76| Let go of perfectionism to stop the cycle of overwhelm
    Oct 15 2026

Would you rather not do something, than to do it and it not be perfect? Perfectionism is a problem that plagues most of us, and it also robs us of opportunities for joy.

3 things that help you realize you struggle with perfectionism

    1. You have a relentless drive for flawlessness

    2. You get overly critical of yourself when you don't achieve your unrealistic expectations you have for yourself

    3. You feel an intense concern of what others think of you

Letting go of your expectations is hard but necessary. Pursue excellence instead of perfection. Excellence is the desire to do your best in everything you do and be okay with the results, knowing it will not be perfect.

And don't compare yourself to others, you were meant to run your own race, at your own pace and to do it all for the Lord.

  • 75 | Four step Biblical framework to prioritize taking care of yourself
    Oct 8 2026

Self care has been a popular topic for a couple years now. We may have the temptation to set it to the side as a passing fad but what we don't realize is when we don't take it seriously it will have lasting impact on us. Take it from someone who has been through complete burnout and had to take a year to recover from a life of not caring for myself. This four step Biblical framework simplifies the idea of caring for yourself and helps you focus on what is truly important.

Do you need someone to talk to and help you implement this framework and care for yourself? Reach out to one of our mentors. We would love to support you.
