  • Dont't be a Creepy Guy
    Apr 22 2026

There’s socially awkward, and then there's creepy! You might be surprised and how often guys get in trouble with their spouse for acting creepy or how often guys who are on dating sites or in singles groups get classified as “creepy.” Not socially awkward—creepy!

This issue has kept popping up in counseling sessions over the years, so I thought I would address it.

Some times it appears the guy knew what he was doing, but thought somehow he would get away with it or maybe that it was acceptable to someone on some level. Then at other times, I think the guys were just clueless, perhaps they felt they were being cool or funny or what they were doing or the way they were behaving was acceptable. Generally speaking, It was not!

So, whether you're married or not, whether you're in a social setting or you're at work, what makes a guy seem creepy?

Furthermore, in these relationships, eight out of ten women feel that men will "never outgrow their childish ways."

In this episode, we’re addressing the problem of being emotionally immature. You might be surprised by how much this is an issue in relationships—especially marriage relationships.
