Mike continues his discussion of atheism by explaining what it was like to discover that Gay people are not welcome in most in most churches. This led him to research why that was the case and what were his options as a Christian. This ultimately resulted in Mike facing a conclusion that he was trying to fit into what churches wanted rather than examining his belief system.

Mike begins a discussion of atheism and how he came to publicly identify as an atheist. This topic will cover the next several episodes as he talks about his church life from a very early age, this things that led him to believe their is no god, and how it all has affected his life. This is in no way intended to encourage atheism in other people. It is simply the story of one man and his lifelong struggles with organized religion.

Mike starts a conversation about having a list of beliefs or qualities that he shares with someone before he pursues a friendship or deeper relationship. This idea is to cover anything that might be controversial upfront to keep an issue from wrecking the relationship later on.

Additionally, Mike touches on two hot news items. First, he discusses the Ed Sheeran/Macklemore dispute over Gaza comments. Then, Mike examines the early recess, again, of the House of Representatives just as Congressman Thomas Massie introduces articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
