    • Episode 5: Reframing difficult moments to glimmers
      Jun 19 2025

In this episode of the Inclusion is One podcast, we open up about the real-life challenges and joys of parenting, especially as families of neurodivergent children. Together, we reflect on how we navigate the emotional ups and downs of raising our children, particularly through big transitions like starting school.

We talk about how important it is to find a balance between positivity and realism in parenting. When things get tough, we’ve learned that emotional resilience helps us stay grounded—and that being part of a supportive community makes all the difference. We know we’re not alone in this journey, and neither are you

As parents of neurodivergent children, we understand how vital it is to practice acceptance—not just of our children’s unique needs, but of ourselves too. We’ve found that reframing challenges and focusing on small wins helps us find joy in the everyday moments.

We celebrate progress, no matter how small, and remind ourselves to be present, even on the hard days. By sharing our experiences, we create deeper connections and build a space where we can support and uplift one another. Most of all, we trust that things will unfold as they’re meant to—and that mindset brings us peace as we continue this parenting journey together.
