Head north to the Interior and it's a different world. We're talking minus 38 this morning. Some valley locations are seeing temperatures in the minus 40s and even minus 50s. You'll recover to minus 8 by mid-afternoon. Patchy freezing fog could develop before 3 P.M. Tonight? Back down to minus 30, with wind chills approaching minus 38 degrees. Now Southeast Alaska. That's where the action is. An arctic boundary draped over the panhandle is combining with Gulf moisture to bring snow. We're seeing snow overnight with a 78 percent chance peaking around 3 A.M. Expect 1 to 3 inches tonight, then another 4 to 8 inches Tuesday into Tuesday night. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday for the Juneau area and Glacier Bay.
