À propos de ce contenu audio
Six dudes, one sax, and a whole lot of chaos 🎷😂 Mary Stone & cohost Matthew Battise wrangle Fayetteville’s own Hydryver in a small room packed with jokes, potty humor, and unforgettable stories. When Matthew Battise asks, ‘What’s the craziest thing that ever happened at a show?’ the band erupts into tales of nights gone off the rails —even revealing details about their recent set at Nude Stock (yes, a nudist colony festival -shhh🤫) To quote Gus the guitarist “Authenticity is very magnetic and also very repellant to those who don’t understand it!" This is definitely the most Authentic Podcast we have ever released with very little editing. We wanted to invite you to backstage banter with us so grab a beer and listen in!
In this episode, Hydryver members are extremely proud to introduce us to their newest member, award‑winning saxophonist Chris Nelson. Hear how he’s bringing fresh fire to the band. To hear more about Chris’s other life in the Country Music World and his songwriting process, listen in to the previous episode of SoPines Scene Podcast where we featured Chris Nelson.
Hydryver is currently gearing up for their Nov 21 blowout at Raleigh’s Lincoln Theatre with blues‑funk rockers Effing and Blinding and Raleigh’s hard‑hitting Dirty Remnantz.
This episode is pure backstage energy spilling over and we are so excited to see a band that plays in Moore County head on to bigger stages and we wish them all the best! PS – Look out for their New Year’s Even Announcement soon!
