    • Ep. 16: Juvenile Justice and Youth Services
      May 22 2025

We’re back with our longest episode to date!

In this jam packed episode, Sara and Kaycee have the privilege to sit down with a team from Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (JJYS). Damon, Mark, and Amanda work hard in the TriCounty area assisting not only juveniles, but their families when a crisis may start to arise. They recognize the importance of intervention and team work when youth are first struggling, but also when they are in need the most.

Damon gives an overview of the various programs offered and the process that families can take to get involved with JJYS. Mark talks about the Strengthening Families Program (SFP), and the importance of good family communication. We hear about Girls’ Circle from Amanda, and her dedication to providing girls a safe space and community to express their feelings and feel supported.

Even if you don’t have youth in your home, you aren’t going to want to miss this episode!
