  • Building Nervous System Capacity | 175
    Jan 6 2026

This anchoring practice is about creating a daily habit of tuning into your nervous system with curiosity.

A few years ago, one of my mentors shared something that has stayed with me. You don’t want to attune to your nervous system only when life gets hard or everything feels like it’s falling apart. You want nervous system hygiene. A daily relationship. A practice of checking in before you’re overwhelmed, reactive, or exhausted. So that when life does get hard, you don’t find yourself upside down and completely shaken.

Because this is how we change generational patterns.

Not in the hot moments of crisis.

Crisis will happen. Life will inevitably get hard but this is not the time to try to figure out your nervous system. You don’t learn how to anchor a boat for the first time in the middle of a storm. When you’ve practiced anchoring in calm waters, you intuitively know how to respond when things get rough.

It’s pretty easy to move through life when things are going well. When our health feels stable, our kids are okay, our relationships feel calm, and life isn’t asking too much of us.

Our strength isn’t tested when life is easy. It’s tested when something feels uncertain. When a symptom shows up. When a child is struggling. When we’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or carrying more than we know what to do with.

And in those moments, most of us instinctively look outward for support. For answers. For something to fix or soothe what we’re feeling.

But one of the most powerful shifts we can make is realizing that the greatest support isn’t external. It’s internal.

It’s the relationship you have with your own body. It’s whether you know how to check in. It’s whether you can notice what’s happening inside of you before you’re pushed into reaction.

This is what we are doing in this practice.

Just learning how to be with yourself, consistently, so that when life gets hard, you know how to loving sit with yourself and respond with confidence instead of reacting with fear.

This practice is about connecting your own dots and getting curious about how your system speaks.

Thanks for listening! I would love to connect with you ♡

  • What to Do Before Going to Urgent Care | 174
    Dec 30 2025

You don’t panic because a rash suddenly appears. Or because your child wakes up crying in pain and pulling on their ear. Or because you feel that familiar sting of a UTI coming on. The panic sets in the moment you realize you don’t know what to do next.

It’s that pause. That sinking feeling of, “Do I wait this out?” “Do I need to go to urgent care?” “Is this going to get worse?” It’s not the symptom that feels overwhelming. It’s the uncertainty.

This episode is here to meet you in those exact moments.

I want you to be able to come back to this episode when something shows up in your body or your child’s body and feel grounded instead of panicked. I want you to know how to respond with clarity and confidence, using tools you already have at home, in a way that supports the body instead of fighting it.

In this episode, I’m going to share exactly how I use Cleanse, Magic Stuff, and Balance CBD when things like styes, ear infections, or UTIs show up in my family. I’ll talk about how I support skin infections, rashes, cuts, burns, blisters, and scrapes at home. What I do for sore throats, swollen tonsils, canker sores, and the early signs of illness. And how I support sinus infections and congestion.

My intention is that by the end of this episode, you feel equipped the next time something comes up.

I’m excited to share this with you though because learning how to use these tools has completely changed how we care for our family. Our children have never needed antibiotics, and we haven’t needed to go to the doctor for nearly a decade, because we know how to support our bodies in healing, how to strengthen our immune system, eliminate infection and nurture our nervous systems when things show up. That doesn’t mean life is perfect or that symptoms never happen. It means we know how to respond when they do.

  • Manifestation Through Embodiment | 173
    Dec 23 2025

Welcome to Follow Your Gut. Daily Anchors.

I’m Juniper, and I’ll be guiding you in this daily embodiment practice for grounding, expansion, and self-leadership.

I have been on my own personal growth journey for a really long time. I’ve spent years learning and healing, expanding, unlearning, and rebuilding myself, and something I’ve really come to notice is that so many of the tools for growth today move incredibly fast. There is so much information, so many practices, so many insights coming at us all the time, and while so much of it is beautiful and so powerful, I’ve found it harder and harder to actually create the space to embody what I’m moving through.

Personally, I have been craving an anchoring practice, something I can return to every day. And originally, this was something I was just going to record for myself as a voice note on my phone. But as I went to press record, I had this very clear, intuitive knowing that this isn’t meant to be just mine. That it isn’t just me feeling this way. As women, as mothers, and really as humans living in the world right now, our bodies were never designed for the pace we’re moving at. We’re processing more information, making more decisions, and holding more emotional weight than ever before, and without something steady to return to, it’s easy to feel unanchored, even when we’re doing all the right things.

    Welcome to Daily Anchors.

This is designed to be a daily practice that you return to once a day for two weeks at a time. Each practice stays the same on purpose, because repetition is how the body learns safety, and safety is where real growth happens.

When you come back to the same practice each day, you begin to notice how you’re changing, even though the words don’t. You begin to embody the work instead of just understanding it.

This practice is for you if you are a mother awake in the middle of the night, holding your child and worrying about their health or development. It’s for you if you’re navigating your own health and feel overwhelmed by how much there is to know. It’s for you if you’re building something, becoming someone new, or standing at the edge of your next season and wanting a way to stay grounded as you grow.

You can listen first thing in the morning before anyone else in your house is awake. You can come back to it in the middle of the day when you feel scattered. You can make it part of your bed time routine or in the middle of the night when you are awake wishing you could sleep. There is no right time. This is meant to fit into real life.

At the end of each practice, I’ll guide you through a few simple daily anchors.

I’m dedicating every other Follow Your Gut Podcast episode to this practice, for you and for me. I’ll be doing these right alongside you, and so will everyone on the ōNLē team.

This is not about doing more. It’s about creating space to actually embody the woman you’re becoming.

Thanks for listening! I would love to connect with you ♡

  • Celiac, HLA, MTHFR and APOE4: The Story Behind the Genes We Fear Most | 172
    Dec 9 2025

There is something incredibly liberating that happens when you realize your genes are not a life sentence. We have all been told that if a gene runs in your family, you’re destined to live out the same story. Celiac. MTHFR. Hashimoto’s. Breast cancer genes. We’re taught to brace ourselves instead of learning how to influence the environment those genes live in.

When the gut is overwhelmed, the immune system stays in a reactive state, and in that environment certain genes become more expressive than they would in a balanced body. And as the gut heals and the immune system steadies, those expressions often soften again.

When we move through life in the energy of fearing our bodies, or resenting the parts of us that feel complicated or confusing, it creates a disconnect. Not just within us, but within our children. They feel it. They feel the way we brace around certain symptoms. They feel the heaviness we carry when we believe something is wrong with us, or wrong with them. Our energy teaches them what to believe about their own bodies, the world around them, and what is possible or impossible.

If your child has a gene variant that society labels as undesirable, the most healing thing you can offer them is not fear. It’s acceptance. It’s steadiness. It’s the belief that their body is not broken. Because when you hold that belief, they learn to hold it too.

Your body is not something you need to fear. Your child’s body is not something to fix. Every single part of you was designed on purpose. Every one of your gene variants is a page in your story. And when certain genes express, it is an invitation. It is your body communicating with you and bringing you back into alignment so you can show up in your life as the best version of you.. It is your body asking you to come closer, not pull away.

When you view your body through this lens, everything shifts. You stop battling yourself. You stop bracing for what might happen. You begin partnering with your body instead of fearing it. And this is where your deepest power lives. In relationship. In understanding. In the environment you create on the inside.

Your genes respond to you. They respond to the way you live, the way you nourish yourself, the way you support your gut and your nervous system, the way you speak to yourself, the way you choose to show up every day. And the more safety and nourishment you bring into your life, the more your genes settle into the expression that serves you.

This is the freedom of gene expression. This is the empowerment that no lab report can ever take away from you.

  • Your Healing Timeline Has a Purpose | 171
    Dec 2 2025

Do you ever wonder why it feels like everyone else is healing faster than you or your child?

Comparing timelines is something I see a lot of and it's something I have experienced myself. It can be really hard to be months into your journey and see someone else making remarkable progress in just two days!

There’s this quiet pressure most women carry, and no one really talks about it out loud. The pressure to grow faster. Heal faster. Figure things out faster. To not fall behind. To keep pace with whatever invisible timeline we think we’re supposed to be on. And when healing is part of the story, that pressure multiplies. You start comparing your child’s progress to someone else’s. You compare how quickly someone else’s skin cleared or how fast another woman felt “better” in her body. You start thinking your timeline means something about you. Or your motherhood. Or your effort. Or the choices you’ve made.

Your timeline is not a measure of how well you’re doing. Your timeline is a mirror of who you’re becoming.

Healing isn’t just symptoms leaving the body. It’s the nervous system learning safety again. It’s the mind slowly moving out of survival mode. It’s the body trusting itself enough to let go of things it’s been holding for years, gosh, for most of us… our entire lives. And deep growth, the kind you actually feel in your bones, never happens on a schedule. It unfolds in the pace your life can hold. The pace your motherhood can hold. The pace your nervous system can hold.

  • Before You Decide on Wisdom Teeth, Fluoride, or Braces… Listen to This with Dr. Barry Gillespie | 170
    Nov 25 2025

Why is it so hard to find real guidance about wisdom teeth, fluoride, and braces for our families?

When I first invited Dr. Barry Gillespie onto the podcast, I thought I was bringing on a traditional-turned-biological dentist. This is what I shared in my community The Rebalancing Collective, and what I shared on my instagram stories when I was gathering all the questions you wanted answered. But as soon as we began talking, I quickly realized I had misunderstood and what unfolded ended up being far more empowering than the conversation I originally imagined.

What makes this conversation so powerful isn’t just Dr. Gillespie’s wisdom. It’s the honesty that only comes from someone who has lived inside the traditional system, followed the rules, believed in the model, and then had his entire perspective altered by real life. He’s here sharing his opinions after fifty years of seeing both sides… what dentistry teaches and what he now knows to be true about whole-body healing. And for me, that carries a different kind of weight.

When I walked into my house after this interview, Ty and our kids asked me how it went, and the only words I could find were, “I feel like I just sat with one of those wise people you see in documentaries… someone who has actually lived the things he’s talking about.” His insight means so much to me, and I know to every single one of you listening, because we’re not here for symptom-masking or band-aids. We’re here for lived experience. And hearing from someone who has walked both sides and now chooses a different path is deeply grounding and profoundly empowering.

You’ll hear his honest, unfiltered opinions on the things so many of us feel pressured into… wisdom teeth removal, fluoride, braces, root canals, and why, as he says, “you don’t want to go along with the herd.” He takes you out of fear and back into discernment. The conversation around wisdom teeth alone is going to shift how you think about dental timelines. We compare it to circumcision, how the culture tells us to do something simply because “that’s what everyone does,” instead of making decisions with intention and understanding.

If you’re someone who’s ever sat in a dental chair or a doctor’s office wondering, “Is this really the only way?”... this episode is for you. It’s humbling, empowering, and filled with the kind of wisdom that helps you see your health in a whole new light.

I can’t wait for you to meet Barry! Let’s get into it!

  • What Your Cravings Actually Mean | 169
    Nov 18 2025

We live in a culture that’s so obsessed with food and body image that most of us have learned to ignore our own hunger cues. We’ve been taught that control is strength, that shrinking is success, that discipline somehow equals worthiness. And for so many of us, especially as women, that conditioning runs really deep.

There’s this constant pressure, both internal and external, to bounce back after pregnancy, to get it right, to do better. And underneath all of it is a quiet exhaustion that comes from trying to fight our bodies instead of learning to understand them.

I know you’ve found yourself caught in that tug-of-war, thinking you “should be stronger.” I have too. It’s a constant teeter totter between convincing myself that I don’t care because I honor my sacred body so deeply, and then suddenly questioning, what am I even talking about, if I love my body this much, shouldn’t I want to feel good in it?

I recently read that 75% of women will experience some form of eating disorder or body image struggle at some point in their lives. Seventy five percent. That means almost every woman you know has spent time believing she’s broken, when really, her body has just been trying to communicate.

This isn’t an episode about body image, it’s about how we actually feel inside.

I’ve gone through seasons where I didn’t trust my own hunger, where I tried to outsmart my cravings, where I told myself that if I just had more willpower, I’d finally feel good in my skin. But that never brought peace.

What I’ve learned is that participating in this never ending pendulum of pressure only pulls us further away from what our bodies have been trying to tell us all along.

  • Don’t Lose Yourself Trying to Get “There” | 168
    Nov 11 2025

When my son was unwell, I lost myself.

    I stopped sleeping.
    I stopped moving my body.
I stopped even knowing how to find joy.

In the rare moments when he finally fell asleep, I sure as heck didn't sleep. I researched. Because I could feel him slipping further away from me and I was desperate to heal him.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped breathing.
I stopped knowing how to connect with my daughter, with Ty, with my own body.

I was holding my breath just trying to keep us all afloat.

And I know so many of you are in this place right now... trying to heal your own body, or your child’s body, and it is all-consuming. It becomes the only thing you can see. You pour every ounce of yourself into the symptoms, into the protocols, into the fear. And somewhere along the way, you stop living.

I want to share something with you that I didn’t understand back then...
His healing journey wasn’t separate from mine.
    It never was.

And if I could go back… I would do it differently.
    Not because I regret anything.
But because I know now that I didn’t have to lose myself in order to heal him.
In fact, I could have healed him faster (with more steadiness, more clarity, more grounded energy) if I hadn’t abandoned myself in the process.

That’s what this week’s episode is about.

I’m walking you through the raw, honest story of how we ended up living in a motorhome with no internet, how we nearly broke and then found each other again, how healing forced us to leave behind everything we thought we were supposed to be… so we could finally come home to ourselves.

And I’m sharing what I wish someone had told me back then.
That nothing in life is about the end result. Not the wedding day, not the symptom checklist, not the healed body.

It’s about how we live while we’re in it.
    Who we are becoming.
And how we shift our focus back to what actually matters.

Because healing isn’t the finish line.

And if you hold your breath the whole way there just waiting for the perfect moment to finally feel peace, or presence, or joy? You will miss what it was all for.

This might be the most powerful episode I’ve ever recorded. And I really believe it’s going to meet you right where you are.

Thanks for listening! I would love to connect with you ♡
