Rick Bergh sits down with young adult Augusta to hear her remarkable story of survival, faith, and discovering God’s presence in her life.

At just seven years old, Augusta experienced a devastating boating accident that nearly took her life and left her leg almost completely amputated. Against incredible odds, surgeons were able to reattach her leg, beginning a long journey of recovery.

But Augusta’s story is about much more than physical healing. Growing up without a Christian faith, she began asking questions about God, eventually encountering Jesus in a way that changed the direction of her life. She shares openly about coming to faith, navigating challenges as a young Christian, finding a community of believers, serving on a mission trip to El Salvador, and discovering how God can work even through the most difficult chapters of our lives.

It is a powerful conversation about survival, grace, calling, community, and learning to recognize that God has been present all along.
