P.C. James: The Cozy Mystery author P. C. (Paul) James was born in England and lives near Toronto in Canada. His most successful character, Miss Pauline Riddell, is the leading character in the Miss Riddell Historical Cozy Mystery series. Miss Riddell is based on Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple and also his aunts when he was growing up.
