Meet the Hosts

I'm Fred, the host of Deported to Sweden. Every episode, I surprise my co-host—Peter Colt, a published author and the guy who does most of the good talking—with a topic he’s never seen coming. It might be about writing, storytelling, inspiration, or whatever strange angle I felt like chasing that week.

Despite the ambush format, Peter always manages to say something smarter than I do. Somehow. That’s the show: bourbon, banter, and the occasional moment of real insight—usually from him.

      Yes, you. Take yourself seriously, do the thing, you know, the one you always wanted to. In this episode, we discuss what it means to take yourself seriously. I'd like to make a joke about it but then would I be taking this seriously? Quite the conundrum I'm in right now, you have to understand. I want to write this to be entertaining, but...I know, just go listen to it.
