Don’t wait for certainty to make a difference! These were the closing words of the 55th St. Gallen Symposium, which took place on May 6 and 7, 2026.

Every year, the International Students’ Committee (ISC), made up of ambitious and engaged HSG students, brings more than 1,000 people to campus. Their goal is to foster dialogue across generations, cultures and backgrounds by connecting the leaders of today with the leaders of tomorrow.

This year’s theme, “Disrupted Age”, reflects a world shaped by constant change and disruption. Jing Wu’s path doesn’t follow the usual script. She started in food science in Shanghai and is now a PhD candidate at the University of St.Gallen, working where nutrition meets data and technology. At the center of it all is her idea of a digital food coach, an app that uses shopping data to turn everyday purchases into personalized nutrition advice.
