Introducing today's guest: Anwar McDonald.Anwar McDonald is a songwriter known for crafting infectious melodies and versatile lyrics across genres, from reggae to pop, R&B, hip-hop, and country. The Bahamian songwriter got his international start writing for reggae artist Jah Cure’s 2015 album ‘The Cure’ which debuted at #1 on Billboard Reggae Albums chart and was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards. He collaborated with Jah Cure again on his 2019 Album ‘Royal Soldier’, including the singles “Risk it All” and “Marijuana” (which features Damian Marley) and continues to bring his creative touch to projects with Toronto-based production group Jukebox.
