Very good, except for one narrator.
Where does Yesterday's Gone: Season 2 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The lower end. But that's not terrible as I feel like i have listened to a lot of truly excellent books.
Would you recommend Yesterday's Gone: Season 2 to your friends? Why or why not?
Maybe. But only because the character Boricio.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
This question strikes at the heart of why I will not continue the series. Whichever narrator is reading the "Luca" chapters (the story is broken down into POV chapters) is just awful. Luca is an 8 year old boy and I guess the narrator is trying to sound 8. He does not do a good job of it. I'd have no problem if he gave the character of Luca a baby-ish voice and persona when he speaks, but to carry it over for an entire chapter is a bad choice, in my opinion.Ray Chase crushes it as Boricio, though. That almost makes up for it.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really.
Any additional comments?

Please sort out the narration!
What did you love best about Yesterday's Gone: Season 2?
The story is great and engaging. Ray Chase (doing Boricio) is AMAZING and I'm definitely going to search for more books read by him. R.C Bray delivers an excellent performance as well. My favorite narrators.
What did you like best about this story?
I can't guess what's going to happen.
Did the narrators do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I can't blame the narrators. Some are amazing while the others are OK. What I did really HATE was the fact that (in order to save money?) some characters are played by different narrators. You get used to Boricio being narrated by Ray Chase when all of a sudden, when he meets Luca, Maxwell Glick who's doing Loca is also doing Boricio. He even pronounces the name Boricio differently. The two narrators are so different (Chase sounds like a hardass pervert criminal, while Maxwell sounds like a kid) that it totally ruined the experience for me. Can't you have both narrators together for such scenes?, common! I'd pay double to get the book read right.
Any additional comments?
Sort out the narration. Chase should do Boricio - ALWAYS. Bray should do Brent - ALWAYS. Maxwell should do Luca - ALWAYS. You messed up the book!

Quitting the series here.
Season One of Yesterday's Gone was so/so. I was curious enough about the story line and characters to give Season Two a try, but 12 hours and 17 minutes into it, I quit.
First, I don't want to knock the narrators -- they do the best they can. R.C. Bray and Ray Chase are two of my all time favorites. In both Season One the producers seem to have made a couple of mistakes paring voices to characters, and in Season Two the continuity of characterizations seems to fall apart to a large extent. But that isn't enough of a reason for me to quit a series mid-stride like this.
The reason I'm giving up is that after 28 hours of listening I've grown to really dislike many of the characters and find the scenes to be overtly gross and depraved. I don't usually stand on any kind of moral high ground with my ingestion of sci-fi...I'm fine with reprehensible characters doing horrible things. I just need it to be worth letting into my head, you know? When likable characters begin to turn bad and dislikeable characters do foul things for no reason but shock value, I begin to wear out. When that becomes the standard, episode after episode, I quit.
The series is massive -- six seasons? More? And so many of the reviews are really positive. I'm willing to chalk this up to me just not getting something that's there for everyone else. But based on my own experiences thus far, I can't and won't recommend the Yesterday's Gone series to anyone.

An awesome story with incredible narration
If you could sum up Yesterday's Gone: Season 2 in three words, what would they be?
Bizarre, Exciting, Roller-Coaster
What was one of the most memorable moments of Yesterday's Gone: Season 2?
Multiple moments- Luca's struggle/experience with growing "older"
Which scene was your favorite?
Boricio's introduction to The Sanctuary
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Both- multiple times. Or grinning ear-to-ear during one of Boricio's creative "rants"- quite imaginative! :)
Any additional comments?
Bring Season Three to audible SOON... pleeeeeeeese!!!!!!

LOVE IT! A Twist to your typical apocalypse
I picked up season 1 on a whim because it has some of my favorite narrators. I was HOOKED by the halfway point of the first chapter. I listed non stop & then....... BAM the ever dreaded "end of the book music". my heart dropped. But alas, there was MORE! immediately got season 2 and sunk back into my escape. now, that dreaded music hit my again & I'm onto season 3. I'm almost afraid to start because I know that soon this adventure will be over! WHAT will I do then?!

Riveting and captivating!
Would you listen to Yesterday's Gone: Season 2 again? Why?
This book is worth reading again and again in case that you might have missed details, As for me, I cannot wait for Season 3 as Season 2 left off in a most horrific way!
What other book might you compare Yesterday's Gone: Season 2 to and why?
There are many books written about apocalyptic, end-of-days but until the series ends I can't say how they might compare since the authors have taken the series to new places that make the ending hard to predict.
Which scene was your favorite?
For some strange reason, I'm fascinated by the scenes where "Boricio" has his side of the story told. The person who reads his scenes brings him to life by providing the listener with an enrichment of emotions to Boricio's thoughts and language.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Near the end of Season 2 as the revolt takes place, I found myself unable to believe the outcome! It had me in tears.

Like... WHAT just happened?
The ending to this one left me in shock but let me first delve a bit into the review prior to this crazy ending.
All the great characters are back! Bericio! Lucka, Mary, Paulo! There are so many that I wanted to hear about again and they are here. That doesn't necessarily make it a good thing though because the world is even worse than it was in season 1. This one starts right where season 1 starts off too. At craziness!
One thing I have to commend is the audio. This is narrated by a great cast of people, all of who have to imbibe different voices for different scenes and they do a magnificent job!
Maxwell Glick has the job of the Lucka and does a great job. The only issue I had with the younger version is that when we are in Lucka's head it seems as if we are listening to a much younger story. I do enjoy being able to discern the very different voice with so many men narrators in this. Lucka's very different connotations also help us to understand and really feel how he feels so the reader's empathy is really tugged at. All due to Maxwell's great narration. All of the narrators are fantastic and there is not one voice that makes me cringe when I hear it. Even though I prefer not to listen to most women narrators, Tamara Marston's narration is fabulous and I enjoyed her portions just as much as the men.
The only downside to so many narrators are the issues with keeping the voices separate. They read chapters at a time, not different voices. So I got used to Bericio's voice but he came up in other narrator's chapters as well. Not a bad thing, just A thing. Over all the narration and the full audio was outstanding and I thoroughly enjoyed being pulled into the second part of this story. The portions with music were intense and the music added perfectly to that intensity. Especially at the end!
The plot of the book had its highs and lows but for the most part this kept up with the very fast pace of season one. I didn't love Lucka's chapters but appreciate getting into the boy's head. They seem like they are written to and from a younger child but I'm guessing this is just the great writing as we are supposed to be reading what a young boy would be thinking and feeling.
The amount of characters is the only downside but for the most part I was able to keep those characters in check. I think it can almost be harder when listening to an audio to keep so many characters straight but the characterization of each is very well done.
And if I could just bring up the end again... Just wow. Cannot wait to listen to the next season and find out what happens next.
In short: Amazingly well done book with great audio! Great for a book two. Some high's and low's but overall wonderful.

Great story, interesting and cool characters. The speaker for Luka is HORRIBLE!!!
Did you like the walking dead? How about Stranger Things? Lost? Got it all here. Nicely done. And I swear Boricio is Neegan's cousin. But... The speaker for Luka... HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE speaker. Wow. Enough to make you want to throw your playback device out the window or smash it into pieces.
