No. There is no way this story is longer than one chapter. I'm sorry. It's so unbelievable that he hasn't kept track on what she was doing as his revenge was base on hurting her. THERE'S NO WAY!

Stupid, stupid people

This book is causing me to have violent urges. I want to beat both main characters to death with a ball peen hammer. The main conflict in the story is contingent upon a misunderstanding that occurred ten years before and could be resolved with a simple conversation that the two should have had within ten minutes of reuniting.
Not only that, but this misunderstanding happens because the two characters implicitly trust what another, thoroughly untrustworthy character tells them. Neither likes or trusts this third character, but for the sake of the main conflict they trust him over each other. Both are portrayed as intelligent accomplished people, but I'm 3/4 of the way through now and they still haven't had the one conversation that would resolve everything. While I'm aware that a quick resolution would make this a much shorter book, I'd be fine with that. This book would be too long at two pages.

Woman is a doormat!

The romantic leads are one dimensional. The dialog is stiff. No one talks the way these people talk. The story line strains anyone's idea of credibility. Nobody gets that far in the business world with such a lack of communication skills. He's supposed to be a shrewd business man. She has no dignity or professionalism, and he treats her like a toilet bowl all the way to the end. Then covers it all up with,"I'm sorry".

Vomit worthy ending

6 1/2 hours of angst, tension and revenge. It took 4 minutes for the main characters to clear everything up. ”I love you” and “I’m sorry”. No emotion, no anger, no real human reactions. This wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. Oh wait, it’s an audiobook, ...no that’s still right it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

Absolutely obsessed with this story!!!

This story had me smiling, laughing and falling in love again. I was very surprised that the story wasn't easy to predict unlike most romance stories and the end was absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

enjoyable story

I enjoyed the story. I wish it had been a little less frustrating. It was predictable as to what happened all the way to the end. I enjoyed it but there were times I wanted to pull my hair out at the characters. I feel the female character was a major doormat. I don't care if the main male character had apologized at the end for his behavior. That would not have been enough for me. I would have walked away. This poor woman had only been with him and only him and the ten years apart he had slept with everything he could. All because he had believed her father who he knew was a terrible person and didn't like him to begin with. It never entered his little mind he might have lied. If that is the case he could not have been smart enough to be a billionaire. That was another thing. The explanation as to how he went from poverty to one of the richest people in the country was sad at best. In reality it would not have been possible. The story was lacking in many things but it did entertain. The best part was that it was on audible escape. This is a true inspiration on amazon's part.

LOVED DEREK, JASMINE AND LITTLE JACOB!!

Jasmine Feeman age 17 is in love with Derek Titan. She gives her virginity to him. They plan to elope. But Jasmine makes a fatal mistake she tells her father goodbye and why she is leaving.

10 years later Derek Titan is now a Multi Billionaire and has taken over David Freeman's company. This is his revenge. David Freeman destroyed his fathers business plans. Derek thinks Jasmine was in on it.

Derek fins out that Jasmine has had his son and never told him. I loved the interaction between Derek and his 9 years old son Jacob. They took to each other like a fish to water. Derek is very angry with Jasmine. He refuses to share custody of Jacob. They will marry and become a family for Jacob or he will go to court and take Jacob away.

These two can't keep there hands off each other. They are still deeply in love with each and eventually they find out that neither of them left the other. It was David Feeman, Jasmines father who orchestrated there seperation.

This was a very good entertaining fast moving story. The only complaint I have is 10 years is to long for a parent to be seperated from there child. Not even know they had a child. Jacob is already past 9 years of age. There is just to much of his life that Derek missed out on.

A corporate takeover is far more motivated than monetary gain. To crush the family that had caused his father's financial ruin, was more than enough to push to the top of the financial ladder.
However, the truth of that day that caused so much grief was still not revealed. When it does become fully known, ten long years had been lost, for nothing,.

It was really bad written, they don't speak and have sex even though she thinks he is being unfaithful. Who is this ignorant. really

As usual, I enjoyed another romantic story of lost love bringing the main characters back together.
