More than two decades after the war-profiteering 8MEN formed a shadowy pact to steer America into a noble future, the organization’s leading hired gun, Richard Teed, and his partner, Danya Franck, have just pulled off their biggest job to date: assassinating FBI director and 8MEN member J. Edgar Hoover in his own home.

Hoover’s death from what appear to be natural causes sends ripples through the United States government.
