I enjoyed the story of suppressed feelings and life changing questioning, more believable than other stereotype romances. The narrators interpretation is pristine.

My expectations for this book were rather low: I picked it because it was free and when I saw the cover, I thought “nice abs”, which I guess is as good a reason as any to start reading something on a Tuesday evening.

It turned out to be a nice surprise.
There isn’t much suspense about where the whole plot is going, but the ride is nice, emotional - if at times a little corny - and I found myself rooting for the two main protagonists’ all American wholesomeness.

There is some spice, be warned if that’s not your thing, but it is rather subtler than the usual hang-on-to-the-headboard acrobatics contemporary romance delivers these days.

Interpretation is flawless.

This is guilty pleasure at its best!
