You always remember your first love. Don't you? It began with four words. "I love your laugh." But that was 12 years ago. It really began the day Georgina was fired from The Worst Restaurant in Sheffield (TripAdvisor) and found The Worst Boyfriend in the World (Georgina's best friends) in bed with someone else. So when her new boss, Lucas McCarthy, turns out to be the boy who wrote those words to her all that time ago, it feels like the start of something. The only problem? He doesn't seem to remember Georgina at all.

Lucy can't understand Joshua's joyless, uptight approach to his job and refusal to smile. Joshua is clearly baffled by Lucy's overly bright clothes, quirkiness, and desire to be liked. Now they're up for the same promotion, and Lucy, usually a determined people pleaser, has had enough: it's time to take him down. Tiffy and Leon share a flat
Tiffy and Leon share a bed
Tiffy and Leon have never met....
Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they're crazy, but it's the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy's at work in the day and she has the run of the place the rest of the time.
But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven't met yet, they're about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rule book out the window....
This audiobook contains an exclusive interview with author Beth O'Leary and narrator Carrie Hope Fletcher.

This book makes me want to love again
It's so uplifting and interesting story about 2 people can fall in love in a witty way. Imagine how much we can know about one person without the benefit of his/her appearance. By the coffee cup in the sink, the clothes left in the rack, the book he is reading in the bed stand and the smell of her perfume lingered in the flat. It is just defined a new kind of romantic gestures when you are learning how to take care of one and another. Leon, Leon, Leon... my heart can't stop humming his name. Post-it notes replace messenger and bring the air of vintage into their daily conversation just like a slow dance. One more positive thing about this book is it brings up the information of female's emotional abuses and I'm happy that contemporary now is doing a good job to convey controversial and necessary issues to readers. And I must give the author credit for her well plot. It's quite simple but the series of events have arranged intentionally and rationally.

Perfect!
I loved this book so much! It’s funny, heartwarming, beautifully written and unique. I loved the idea of two people sharing a bed but never meeting, it’s such a fun idea and so very different. Leon and Tiffy are both fantastic characters and I loved watching them get to know each other through just sharing a space together and their post-it notes to each other. I’m so pleased I chose to listen to this as an audiobook as the two narrators are absolutely perfect in their roles and bring the book to life beautifully. I can’t rate this highly enough

The best love story of this year
Love the story, full od bumps and turns, not boring any second. The end scene with Justin was little too rush for me but ok. Just I really had to get used to narrators voices, esp. Leon. Not the most pleasant one.

Lovely, original rom-com with excellent narration
I enjoyed this audiobook very much. It's perfect, light escapism combined with the kind of originality that hooks a reader from the blurb to the "Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program," tagline. The narrator choices are both excellent, and both voice actors do an excellent job in bringing their characters to life with apparent ease. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loved a good rom/com, especially one with a twist - a genuine delight in this dark, uncertain time.

so much more than romance
I rarely pick up a book in the romance genre, and now I wonder why. Because. I. Loved. This. Book. The synopsis gives you the feeling that this book will be cute and fluffy, but it isn't. This book deals with some heavy topics (phsychological abuse) and the author succeeds in carefully handling this topic without making is seem less problematic than it is. Tiffy and Leon are both very loveable characters. Although Tiffy has been mentally abused and her self-confidence is almost completely gone, she still remains true to herself. She demonstrates this through her exuberant clothing style and she does not let her friends' or colleagues' opinions change this. The way Leon deals with Tiffy's eccentric personality and her deep emotions is heart warming. Can there be more Leons in this world, please?

I couldn't stop cringing...
I like the book. Tiffy and Leon are very lovable characters. The plot was also very enjoyable. But I couldn't stop cringing every time the male speaker spoke for Tiffy. He spoke a very high and annoying voice. You don't need to make your voice so high to make a point that you are speaking for a female.

nice!

Absolute Kaufempfehlung

Like a warm, cozy romantic comedy you'd watch on a rainy day. Enjoyable, but forgettable and a bit too long in my opinion. Carrie Hope Fletcher is wonderful to listen to and made Tiffy easily one of my favourite characters in the story.
