Many people suffer from feelings of stress and anxiety in their everyday lives. For people with Asperger syndrome (AS), this stress can be particularly difficult to manage. On a daily basis people with AS must fit into a world that seems totally foreign to them, and this can increase feelings of alienation and anxiety, making life's challenges especially hard to cope with. The first book on anxiety written specifically for adults with Asperger syndrome, this book offers practical advice on how individuals with AS can manage their anxiety more effectively.

A must read to understand your love one
My partner is almost a senior citizen and has not been diagnosed, nor is he interested in learning about his disorder or the "label." Nevertheless, he is atypical and now I understand that he loves me in his own way and may never change. Thank you for this book. It is the fourth book on the topic and by far the most through.

Thorough
Amazingly thorough, scientific, and by far best book I've read on Aspergers yet. Perhaps repetitive at times, but is applicable and demonstrates the overlapping influence of traits. Neuro-typical, clinical observation of wide array of high functioning autistic people.

Super Informative and Easily Referenced
I’m just beginning my Aspergers journey, have discovered that in addition to ADHD, all of us in my family of four are also Aspies. This book explained so much struggle in my life, including my marriage. Would love to hear more about aspie male + aspie female coupling. After 20+ years together, it’s reassuring I’m not broken nor the sole issue source. I wish there were an accompanying handbook or detailed index (with times for the audio version). I cannot recommend their book enough...

Insight into Aspies
Tony Atwood takes you inside the wonderful minds of Aspies. The main thing I realized from this book is as a NTbI may not always understand them them but understanding requires judgement acceptance doesn’t.
Wonderful book, you will get a total insight into the mind of Aspies.

Very rich and useful
I had difficulties to start the book as it is seemed not really entertaining at the first shot. It was really worthy to dedicate time to read it entirely. I feel very grateful to have the opportunity to read such a tourough book. I wil' use as a psychologist and in my personal life
