Alison is married to Archibald who physically abused her. Alison called on her neighbor Cameron (from another clan) after her beatings. He helped her with her wounds and took her to Aggie, the healer of his clan. Alison tried to hide all evidence of her beatings from her friends and people in her own clan.
One morning, after returning from seeing Aggie, Alison’s house was spookily quiet. As Alison ventured inside, to her horror, she found Archibald dead on the floor.
