Description
Alejandra is a survivor. So far, she's lived through abduction, a near drowning, and being lost in an alien forest. One of my favorites!
One of my favorites in the Clecanian series. It took a while to warm up to Auzed, but the storyline kept me wondering what was going to happen up until the last couple of chapters. Another amazing performance, too!

Okay I shed a couple of embarrassed tears.
Loved this book. I usually would have been bored by a series by now but this one has me hooked. Loved the plot, loved the characters. I literally cried a couple of times. I really like the narrator too, so shout out to him. Worth every penny.

Failure
This could've been so good, but just like the first we get a needy h who pursues the H putting herself out there over and over and a broody douchey H who's reluctant and pushes her away even though deep down he really likes her.
There are few things I hate more than this lame ass trope. Just makes women seem pathetic. Even worse here considering the H from both come from a society who we're told throughout the entirety of the book worship women.
I cannot stand it when the H rejects the h and instead of telling him to f**k off making him beg for it she just keeps pushing and throwing herself at him. It's just so pathetic.
The H in this series don't have to work for it AT ALL. Like AT. ALL. Minus Using Fejo (which is not only the only good one on this series but awesome on its own) all of these h's act like pathetic little puppies who jump at any tiny scrap the H throws their way. it's so much worse in a series set in a society where women are supposedly more desired than anything else man could have and treated like goddesses. So in a society where women are worshiped these heroines essentially just wear down the H until they cave and be with them.

I WANT MY CREDIT BACK DAMNIT!!
Let me say this, the only saving grace for this book was the narrator, he is fantastic! If the narrating was as bad as the story was, I would not have been able to finish!
In all of the books there has been something very irritating about the leading ladies! In this book the leading lady was stupid and very annoying!
I have no idea what is up with this author and her need to repeat things with her characters! In this book she kept having Alejandra use movie references that nobody knew!
The freaking aliens didn't know what the heck she was talking about and she just sounded like a moron!
The "extras" that she brought in were unnecessary. I consider them to be fillers. It seems like she didn't know what else to do so she thought to herself I know I'll put these ppl in the book.
I found myself fast forwarding through the sex scenes because it was taking so long to get to what was supposed to be the good part! they were the most boring sex scenes I ever heard and the thing about it is I don't look for the sex scenes it's not really my thing but if you're going to have them in there they should be hot and steamy and they were not!
This is the first book where I really thought the male lead was a complete asshole! I made allowances for the other men, I understood why Theo was the way he was but there was absolutely no reason for this fool to have his foul ass attitude all the time!
I've never been so relieved to have a book be over. I gave her a one for the overall story because it sucked. It was a good idea she just didn't write it well and that's such a shame.
Save yourself a credit because honestly these are all the same books with different color men and the females are all stupid with different names. If you read the first one you've read them all!!!
DON'T waste the credit. I sure hate I did.

Gimme more
This series is my favorite of its kind. Fun, heart breaking, HEA, sexy and an involved storyline. Romantic sci fi at its best. I’m so glad there’s at least one left. I love these characters.

Narrator is a 100/10! story line is detailed bringing the characters to life in vivid detail. I can't rate this series high enough. "Two things up" pun intended.

again one of the best books in this serie
this book was / is one of my fav after theo`s story, it was so fast over, and somhow now i see even more storys for all the other amazing charakters.
the story is about theos younger brother zed, the head guard of the queens-tempel where all the human and single clecanian are living.
he worked his life to be usefull and wanted always to protect others.
After his mother died and his brother got injured and treated badly, he wanted to protect him and his family, and everyone that needet it.
his mother was a female that remarried and so she pulled a lot of hate to her, even after giving birth to 4 guys and a girl.
she still wasnt treated well.
so zed always resented woman that are so "selfish" and not share there "body" to give other males a chance to become father.
he didnt know better, bec the teaching infiltrated his thinking.
untill he was send to rescue alex....
she and lilly ( book 3) run from the rescue trupp and survived barely ... in the woods in a dangerous jungle far away from citys.
someday a earthslide, seperated the girls, and as we know, lily got rescue and fall in love with our lizzard guy , but alex is missed.
alex survived the slide and the river, with a big headinjure and a upset stomach, no good since for humans to loose all the water they needet in a jungle full with dangerous strange somethings.
Than a smal Furrball comes in view and helps alex to survive.
She brings alex insects and water, untill shes abel to rise and walk .
But the liddle Furrball ( i always thought here of a mix between an ottfant and an squirrel) guides her in the dark woods.(avatar meats indiana jones)
The liddle Animal is clever and used to two legged creature like humans ore clecanian, so she knows how to help and guide.
Than one Day they hear a massiv dangerous animal that silence the whole wood.
and Alex runs ......... but not fast enough the creature is way to big , way to dangerous, and yust like all movies and books call for it, the hero appears yust in time, when shes hiding in a hole, but no match for the howls of a deadly predator.
Our Hero Zed has yust enough time, to get her out of the hole and jump on a tree to dodge the massiv animal.
Able to kill the predator, but not allowed are the only reason hes climbing on a tree with her, but his shield that was hiding them, goes offline in the worst moment and he needs to atack.
The predator are holy animals in this wood, and he yust dashed over the boarder of rival clan, and now hes face to face with there sacred animals, safing her life, and killing the animal seems to be the only way to get out, fast before the ranger appear.
Yust as he killed the Animal, and want her to jump down so they could rush over the boarder to be safe, the ranger appear......
Alex little new fluffyfriend, had gotten them help ..and broght troubel to both of them....
The Ranger arrested both of them for trespassing and killing one of there sacred animals.
He as headguard of the queen, and she for trespassing and helping..
As they arrive in the ranger office, alex comes up with a plan to save zed from beeing arrested , if she says hes her soon to be husband and had rescue her for this they couldnt punish him right?
Jea... no the Leader of the ranger, yust sees a human female thats avaible, and he searches every way to getride of the man in his path ...
and so there fight starts, pretending to be soon married, pretending there growing feelings for each other are yust show, pretending that they could easily go each there own way after leaving this city and go back to the human rescue and the clecanian temple....
but nothing is easy and mating bounds arent be forced to come out.

the book itself is like the others poor drama and action lot of hot szene, lots of what if, what can what should be thinking and again some parts where you weanna shake and cry at the heroins...
the end again is rushed and make you smile and happy ( of cours happy ending as always)
i dont like timeskipping like 2 month later 1 week later etc.
if oyu dont have something like : the last 2 weeks ... happens and ... did ,, but now ... is ... stuff i hate it.
so some storys are paralel and skip back and forth and book 5 is starting 2 weeks before book 4 ends.
and we also got smal glimpse of daisys story ( hope she gets her own book !!! if not iam angry !!)
this serie crys for lot of books !!
for the sweet tail clecanian that won the game ore the brothers ore the horned beast:/ i really had hoped he got together with vanni after jade wanted to put them together :/
happy ends fr many of them !! and pls !!! build something like a human - dating agency so the humans that wanna leave can ! we all know that in some parts of the world femals still arent loved like boys , this girls should be asked to go in space and find a husband that will praise the floor there walking on, as they deserve !
ore maybe some medic change that can re-change the dna that was changed over time with there hightech medizin, so the girls are more fertile again .
than the clecanian could stay with there loved one and have lots of babys :)
