The FL almost ruined it for me

As usual, I absolutely HATED this female lead! I believe this one is the worst one yet!!! Her attitude completely sucks! Not only is she ungrateful, but she is sneaky, deceitful, afraid of her own emotions, and stubborn as hell!

The author wants so bad for the listening audience not to see her for the asshole she is so she gives a good reason for the decit. All she had to do was be honest with him and he would've helped her...
I have no respect for the way she went about trying to get to Earth! No excuse for lying and hurting others...It irritates me how they make Fejo so understanding.

I think Fejo is the best male lead so far although he can be annoying sometimes, but that's just how he was raised, to give those compliments and innuendos but he never stops trying until it becomes genuine.. He's way too trusting and forgiving for my taste... she should've had to earn it!

The book was predictable but I didn't mind taking the ride.. the narrator was great.. However, I hated the way The epilouge leaves so much to be desired!

love this whole series!!

I have read or listened to this while series and loved them. I was actually hesitant about this one though. I generally do not like overly cocky heros or books where one is deceiving the other. It causes me too much angst. I didn't want to skip a book though and I'm SO glad I didn't. Feyo has now tied with Theo as my two favorite Hs in this series. I was more forgiving of Vanessa's deception because she had a good reason. Feyo is damaged which made me want to just wrap him up in a huge hug. Can't wait for rhe next one. The narrator for this series is really good too. I listen only to audiobooks when I'm.in the car so I've heard a lot. He is one of the few where I forget it's a man doing a woman's voice.

Was hoping for more

I had hoped for a better ending and better FL. With Vanessa being so determined to accomplish her goal, I had hoped she would have a decent head on her shoulders. She didn't prepare for anything, her character development was lack luster and she was a bore until the last couple of chapters. Then the epilogue seemed rushed when that was the main driving force for her this whole time and was summed up in 5 mins. I just want 1 strong female character. They all act like damsels in distress and it's getting annoying. Fejos whole story was great though and well fleshed out. we dived into his thoughts and emotions way more than hers which made her feel more like a side character. All in all I'll continue the series but this was a bit of a let down after the others.

Wonderful don’t let the fl bashing turn you away

I was really hesitant because of the reviews saying the female lead is bad but I really got a kick out of her and had a few of those oh shit moments when your internally squirming from the fun your having reading their thoughts haha 😂 not all characters are the same and she’s a defensive firery woman so really I think she fit perfectly. This book had more action in it too which I really liked as well! And a cute happy ending! The only think I could say I didn’t really like was some parts tended to repeat their feelings over and over but it wasn’t that bad.

I loved it

Great addition to the series. If I had to be picky, I would say the ending really makes me want a sequel to see what happens after they pick up her sister and niece from Earth and head back into space.

Good book

This was a good book. I love the character development, I liked that the heroine wasn’t stupid, and I like that the hero as forgiving

My Favorite So Far!

I had a feeling I'd like Vanessa a lot, and I was right. She's very brave compared to all the other human women. Fejo is for sure my favorite alien man.

I really would like to see where Julie's story goes from here though.

Love the series

Great pacing. Characters pull you in. If you’re interested in sci-fi romance open your horizon and give this series a try.

Such a good series!!

I know this is book 5 of the series, but I couldn’t stop reading them, I saw this one on audible and figured what the heck. And it was a nice change to instead of my voice in my head reading to hearing a nice man’s voice reading it to me! And this writer is amazing with her story telling!

I loved this story!

I usually get bored after a few books in a series, but this is my favorite one! I just loved Fejo, I loved the plot ... I was completely entranced. Great characters, great narrator. This is one of the few series I will archive and listen to again. This book in the series I will listen to many, many times I absolutely ADORE Fejo!!!!
