Bouquin génial mais je comprends pourquoi je m'étais lassé quand j'avais 14 ans. L'ecrivaine à créée une histoire génial assez complexe qui nécessite du temps pour tout détailler. Il y a donc, je ne dirais pas des longueurs parce que j'ai adoré, mais des moments plus lent. Cela dit j'ai hâte d'écouter la suite !!!!

Pas grand chose a dire de plus, le livre est super et Paul Boehmer le lit extrêmement bien. Un plaisir du début à la fin

Thrilling and unique story, involving amazing humans whose lives are closely intertwined with animals, I love it! Can't wait to continue to the next book!

This book reads like a never-ending tale of the “bad guy” winning at every turn. There are no real ups and downs—just a flat, predictable progression where the main character lacks any true edge. The plot feels more like a placeholder than a compelling story, possibly intended to build anticipation for the third book. But as a standalone, it simply doesn’t hold up. It lacks depth, tension, and emotional payoff. Not good.

A sometimes very well witten story by Robin Hobb which will appeal to those who like stories with only one viewpoints, through the eyes of one quite deeply developped character whom growth into an adult we follow through the book.
