they changed the narrator!!!
I absolutely love these books, I have read the whole Drizzit series and decided to listen to them to get a new perspective on these books. That being said, changing the narrator 16 books in is booty!! And it's only this book! the next one Victor Bevine is narrating! I dont really like Male narrators but I find I absolutely love Victor Bevine. I'm just gonna tough this one out but just know that I am not happy about it.

Jarlaxle, Artemis and friends on an adventure.
Great chance to see Artemis and Jarlaxle together, great dynamic between the two. Great cast of friends and foes.

Too Many Battle Scenes
I’d love it if these books had less battle scenes and more story... when you get to the story, it’s excellent! But honestly the battles feel like they go on forever and I get bored.

final book of the trilogy has a new Narrator
It's a nice little deviation from Drizzit and not something I regret purchasing HOWEVER. The 3rd and final book to this trilogy, which I just purchased and downloaded, is NOT narrated by Victor for some reason, there were not many reviews complaining about it, so I had no idea. it's horrible. HORRIBLE. Victor has done some 12 books up to this point and then this guy. what's worse, he's not even good on his own to the point that he'd grow on you. I tried and tried, and I just can't, so bc of that, I wouldn't bother with reading any of the trilogy. just skip to the next Drizzit book.

Awsome!
Like all the books before this is a masterpiece too. Exciting developments and formidable foes awaits you in this book. The story of the assassin and his dark companion beholds many adventures roads.

Boring
Boring protagonists compared to Drizzt Adventures. Not even Victor can save this one, I fall asleep over and over. I'll even return the book and not listening the end.
