Marisa Abela and Harris Dickinson bring Lizzie and Darcy to life with remarkable chemistry, and the cast of supporting actors is simply outstanding. The production is immersive in every sense: the music, sound design, and performances make it feel as though you’re stepping straight into the world of early 19th-century England.

Even though I know the story by heart, the dialogues between Lizzie and Darcy had me smiling, laughing, and even kicking my feet in delight. Their exchanges feel fresh, witty, and full of spark, capturing all the tension and charm that makes Austen’s classic so enduring. This audio adaptation is a treat for both longtime fans and newcomers alike. It’s clever, lively, and utterly engaging from start to finish.

The performance of Elizabeth Bennet by Marisa Abela was my standout like of this superb audible of Pride and Prejudice . I don’t usually go for anything other than narrations of books but l hugely enjoyed every bit of this production. Terry Adams

As a non-native English speaker, it can sometimes be difficult to understand this type of performance but this adaptation was really good and easy to understand.
