Mindful Eating is Good
I was unhappy with the dietary advice and notions proposed in this book. Keep it to mindful eating and I'd have loved it. I learned some good things in this book but I won't go back for more due to the constant interjection of dietary advice that I completely disagree with.

Extra annoying
I simply cannot listen to this book. My bad I didn’t check it before buying but the actress reading it puts me to sleep and is so slow! One of my biggest mistakes in this store.

Good stuff
I found this book very insightful and it fit right in to my mindfulness practices. The author does read slowly, but on 1.5x speed, it was perfect. I appreciated the soothing quality, almost like the book itself is a meditation. I wish the exercises were easier to mark, because I wasn’t able to practice them while listening, and not all of them are available at Shambhala. I’m considering buying a hard copy or Kindle édition in addition so I can review parts I especially found insightful.

Fantastic info, great narration
A humorous, non-judgmental approach to finding balance with nutrition and beyond. I will be listening to this one again just because I found it a relaxing meditation of sorts.

Life-changing!
Mindful Eating has MANY golden nuggets in it. The concepts are simple but powerful. Many of the ideas were new to me or got me thinking in either slightly or drastically different ways.
This book has truly shifted the way I look at and consider food (& more). I love that this book helped me become more aware of and observe my life and choices - not in a judgmental way, simply in a way that opens up my awareness and helps me have clarity and choice, hence freedom.
We aren't free until we have knowledge & choice.
Simple & profound!

Some good info, but too much promotion of the author
The author keeps bringing up the topic, and then she will say that she doesn’t want to go into it more, but we can go to her website. I don’t want to go to her website. That’s why am reading this book. I want the information to be in the book. I’m not going to continue reading this.

The next level of Intuitive Eating
This is not another book about intuitive eating. It's so much more. As someone who's spent my adult life stuck in the diet loop, and who has read all the best selling books about diet, nutrition, intuitive eating and mindfulness, I found this book to be the most complete collection of useful facts, tools and insights for effectively changing one's relationship to food.

Great Mindful Eating Educational Book!!
I enjoyed listening to the audible book mindful eating. It has opened my mind to things that I never thought about prior to listening. I will use this information to help me achieve my goals for healthy eating lifestyle.
