Easy listen, great content & concepts!
I have been on a kick on books related to the mind lately and love this book. One of the examples happens to use exercise as one of the goals, and I love the one push-up a day idea! The narration is clear and easy to listen to as well!

Great advice for controlling impulses
I, like I assume everyone, have trouble doing what I should be doing day to day. I play video games when I should be cleaning and I sit the family down for a movie when we should be going for a hike. I really enjoyed the straight to the point approach of this book in controlling the impulses to do easy or lazy things, when there are better things to do.
It doesn't get preachy, and is a quick listen.

Impressed
I've listened to this almost three times now while I workout. Many of us go through life usually looking for advice from friends, those friends however are most often likely to tell you something aligned with what you want to hear. The information in Mind Over Matter is solid and succinct. When it comes to self discipline this book tells you what it is you need to know the way you NEED to hear it. Great read if you're looking to consistently improve on your self-discipline mastery and help you stop letting your thoughts get in your own way.

A How-to guide to Self-Discipline
This is not a scientific paper, nor is it a 100% solution for everyone, but it does have some great information for improving your self-discipline. Not everything will apply to everyone, but most people will be able to take something away from the reading. I enjoy these short, self-improvement books. They provide both the implementation and the reasons why without boring to tears or forcing some spiritual agenda on you. Well written and well narrated.

Really helped me to get over the slump
I love this book & narration: it is not preachy as some other books and the narration is very pleasant to listen.
It covers all the important aspects, and gives plenty of encouragement to get going, and I do like all the examples givens - so all together a very good listen to help dealing with procrastination.

Really great way to look at things and how to tackle everyday life. You want to be more productive, more disciplined in anything this is a great book to help you evaluate how you make decisions and adopt habits, how to undo them, and adopt better habits to make you more effective. whether its spending less impulsively, tackling chores right away, it helps you look at things for the eventual benefits you will have if you practice some thought and discipline in the moment.
