When a young woman's body shows up in the small town of Helena, Louisiana, a local reptile consultant, Brenda Gray, is brought in to examine the case. Elsewhere, ten former college friends plan a long overdue reunion at their friend's luxurious island lake house, expecting the party of a lifetime. Their night is interrupted when a mysterious creature appears and begins hunting them down, one by one.
