Disappointed
This story lacks the wit and energy of most of Georgette Heyer’s stories. It is long drawn out, but still over dramatic. This flaw is emphasised by the performance.

Tolles Buch super lebendig gemacht
Der Sprecher ist super! Das ist erst das zweite Buch, das ich lieber angehört als schnell selbst zu Ende gelesen habe, ob wohl es schon seit Ewigkeiten bei uns im Regal steht.

Tolle, witzige Geschichte
Hatte es als eines der schlechteren Heyer Bücher in Erinnerung - warum auch immer. Super Geschichte, Charaktere genau nach meinem Geschmack, sehr gut gesprochen. Nachdem ich alle Bücher gelesen habe, werde ich mir meine Schätze jetzt auch nach und nach anhören.

Leider ist die Stimme des Sprechers vor allem kaum auszuhalten. Da gibt es auch bei georgette heyer Hörbüchern deutlich bessere
