But for real, it was okay...the story was great and the plots twists/betrayal were good even though some of them were predictable.
However the FMC, Ava, was so annoying 💀 I understand that you lost your family and then you went through the foster system which isn't great BUT I BEG YOU TO GIVE DEB A CHANCE😭
The whole magic system+ vampire was a great combo and it was well executed.
Would I reread this book ? No. Did I enjoy my read ? I honestly have no idea. It was a weird read, I wasn't emotionally into it but at the same time the story in itself was good enough to make me read it all.
Annoying pick me girl as FMC but at least we had Roman 👀
