so helpful and informative

Loved this book it was so informative but gave the information in a way that was relatable and easy to understand. Even if you are uninterested in getting of the pill or haven't ever been on it this book would still be great as you learn so much about your body!

EVERY WOMEN NEEDS THIS BOOK!

This book is a female bible. You have to read this. It is amazing. I love the science and knowledge about my cycle, and autoimmune connection. I'm going to reread or re-listening to this over and over because its that important to me as a female.

Life Changing

I’m on the path to getting off the pill for good. Been on different hormonal BC for 7 years and it’s time to put them to bed. I stopped taking it 4 months ago and want to use FAM method and pull out.

Reason I wanted to stop is I developed Gut issues and have been trying to clean my microbiome for the last year. I’m on the right path to cleaning up my health. This book helped me realize I can do it!! I don’t need the pill ever again :)

I wanted to like this more than I did.

This book had a lot of information as to why hormonal birth control can ruin your cycle and was well read by the narrator.
However I felt like it was a long ad for her website, online programs and supplements instead of a book teaching me how to correct my hormones. While chapter 12 does give a quick rundown on the 30 day program, I expected more about the program and how to implement it (since the book is titled Beyond the Pill: A 30 Day Program....) instead of being told to purchase her supplements and enroll in her program.
I got more out of the Period Repair Manual by Dr. Lara Briden.
