Adyn Cole boards a flight from New York, the city he has lived in for the past ten years. He returns to Australia for the final farewell of his uncle, leaving a decade of life behind him – a career ended, a relationship in ruins.
Back in Sydney, Adyn discovers his uncle has generously favoured him in his will, which has set his other relatives on edge. In an attempt to escape tensions and the demons of his past, he takes up residence in Koorawatha, the Blue Mountains property that has been bequeathed to him. Here, he meets the two caretakers of the house, Camille and Dylan, and his life becomes inextricably entwined with theirs as they all face the dangers of their own desires, dreams and Adyn’s disgruntled family – dangers that quickly turn deadly.
