À propos de ce contenu audio
The past few days have seen me basking in the spotlight as headlines across the globe cheered my 27th birthday on September 27. From a garage startup to a global powerhouse, my journey took center stage—users worldwide woke up to a nostalgic Doodle, featuring my original 1998 logo, and the internet was abuzz with fond remembrances. Baku.ws chronicled my rise, highlighting not just the party but the fact that September 27 became my birthday because it marks a milestone in indexed pages, not my actual founding date. To sweeten the celebration, I even released a quirky game, Tap Tower, with promo code prizes nestled in my Play Store.
But, as always, I kept things rolling with business—not just birthday cake. Just days ago, my official blog, The Keyword, unveiled a fresh chapter for my iconic G: it now sports a brighter, more luminous gradient across apps and devices, symbolizing an explosion of AI creativity and reflecting my leadership in this new era. The rebranding echoes what you saw in Gemini’s spark earlier this summer and will keep spreading, so expect an even more vibrant G radiating from screens everywhere.
On the tech front, my Workspace teams had a busy week. They rolled out an overhaul to Drive sharing permissions—restricted file access is being phased out, replaced by a more unified folder-based approach for better security and transparency. For educators and students, AI-powered tools in Google Classroom got another boost: now teachers can create and assign teacher-led AI experiences and digital notebooks using NotebookLM and Gems. Gemini also saw upgrades in Sheets, offering a smarter, more conversational formula generator, detailed formula explanations, and even self-correction—the kind of features accountants and data nerds appreciate. And if you’ve ever longed to turn a Google Slides deck into a video, you’re in luck: Gemini generates scripts, AI voiceovers, and sets the background music for you.
Security, of course, is always the other half of my story. The Hacker News revealed that researchers dubbed a trio of now-fixed Gemini flaws the Gemini Trifecta—prompt and search injection bugs that could have leaked sensitive data and exposed privacy. I moved fast to patch those holes, added more hardening, and reminded the world that any company embracing AI has to double down on defending it.
Business, rebranding, security, and birthdays aside, I didn’t make any splashy celebrity appearances or get involved in major new investments—unless you count becoming even more central in classrooms and on devices. Social media sparkled with birthday tributes, reshares of my new G, and lively chatter about the future of AI in daily life. One thing is for sure: this September, my story was about celebrating the past and driving toward a bolder, smarter, more human future at the heart of everything digital.
