With humanity teetering on the brink of extinction, Paul's quest for survival heats up along with his self-doubt. After all, how can the average person hope to beat back the undead in a world gone mad? Those things outnumber them 1,000 to one and lurk around every corner. Against all odds, unexpected allies convince him to keep pushing against the darkness closing in on all sides because perhaps they aren't as average as they think. Maybe something is keeping them alive just long enough to take back what is theirs. Or maybe they'll die siphoning gas in a Toys "R" Us parking lot.
