Shirley Ulbrich (writing as S. M. Ulbrich) is a Latter-day Saint author, former foster mother to over 200 children, and a fierce believer in faith, family, and freedom. After 50 years of marriage, raising five children of her own and adopting three sons, she now writes from her bed during the quiet midnight hours—pouring her lifetime of trials, miracles, and testimony into uplifting stories for children, teens, and adults.
Her ‘Discovering Misty’ series delights young readers with wonder and wholesome adventure, while her coming novels weave Latter-day Saint prophecy, American patriotism, and the triumphant hope of the Second Coming. Shirley is racing the clock with stage-4 kidney disease to share every story the Lord has given her.
